Welcome

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we would like to invite you to take part in our next IIM Meeting, which will be on a virtual platform.

Our programme will take place October 22-24th, 2021. The meeting will feature outstanding speakers, all leading scientists actively working in important areas of myology, including Edgar Gomes (Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal), Johnny Kim (Max-Planck-Institute for Heart and Lung Research, Bad Nauheim, Germany), Elizabeth McNally (Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago, USA) and Michael Rudnicki (Sprott Centre for Stem Cell Research, Ottawa, Canada). Virtual oral and poster presentations will fill the three half-days programme. In addition, on October 21st, 2021, we will also have a pre-meeting Advanced Myology Course dedicated to young trainees.

We are confident that these and other activities in our programme will ensure a successful meeting and encourage you to join us in October 2021!
